Special Guests

The following sites are managed by some wonderful people who we like to call our friends, and who have helped us with our journey to provide you with great recipes.  In a lot of ways, if it wasn’t for them, this site would not exist.  We give our sincere thanks to them and encourage you to check out their sites as well.

FOOD

  • April Joy Farm - Farm to table!  Six months out of the year we get our veggies from this local farm.   Organic/Fresh/Delicious.  We highly encourage you to join a CSA in your local area and support your local, organic farm.
  • Inspiration Plantation -  We buy free-range eggs, whole chickens, and other meat  from this beautiful, local farm.
  • Meat Eats - When we want to eat out, these guys know where to get the healthiest food with the best bang for your buck!  If you live in the Portland/Vancouver area, search here before going on the town.
  • Pampered Chef - Many of our kitchen tools are Pampered Chef products.  We use them on a regular basis and they still look as good as new.  The products are mainly sold by a consultant and not in stores.   You don’t have to be local to buy from our friend, Teresa.

FITNESS

  • CrossFit Acro - Steve is a good friend and worked as a coach at CFFV until he opened his own gym. He is a type 1 diabetic. Check out his story here.  People just don’t get any better than him and his wife Riss!
  • CrossFit Fort Vancouver - I am happy to be a fitness coach at CFFV. Adam is literally one of greatest guys that I know and I am grateful to be able to work with him and to be a part of this community.   CFFV was deemed “The Fittest Gym in the World” in 2010.  If you are in the Portland/Vancouver area, be sure to swing by for a great workout!
  • CrossFit Portland - CFP was one of the very first CF gyms and are like a second family to us at CFFV.  My journey with food started here.  Knowledgeable coaches who are dedicated to teaching others.
  • Manimal Wear - George and Kris have created fitness wear made to a higher standard, for those athletes who train hard and are dedicated.  Quality products and they stand by them 100%!
