Apples with Coconut Butter and Almonds

Have you ever tried coconut butter? It is so incredibly tasty that I thought about just posting a recipe that calls for one jar of coconut butter and a spoon, take a bite, repeat. 🙂  But, since I feel like I have to actually eat it with something, I came up with this satisfying treat. 

Gather Up:

  • 2 apples (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp coconut butter
  • 1/4 cup almonds (chopped)
  • cinnamon
  • nutmeg

Heat pan on low, then add in coconut butter.  Toss in apples and mix thoroughly with the butter until warm.

Remove from heat. Add apples to a bowl and sprinkle on chopped almonds and a few dashes of cinnamon and nutmeg. Great sub for apple pie! Enjoy the yumminess!

This is a simple, and fast, substitute for apple pie.
Ingredients
  • 2 apples (chopped)
