Cabbage and Sausage Hash

Recipes posted a year ago:

This recipe was made up on a whim as I couldn’t decide how to mix it all together or if I should make a casserole or a stew. I ended up just throwing in a bunch of ingredients and got a good one!

Gather Up:

  • 1 pound or more of sausage
  • half cabbage, chopped
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • half onion, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp of No-Salt seasoning (not shown)
  • 1/4 cup dextrose or honey

Cook cabbage in a skillet with coconut oil until soft.  Remove from heat and put in a bowl.

Next cook the sausage and onion.  Drain.  In a separate bowl mix egg and add in remaining ingredients.

Add tomato mixture to sausage and add in cabbage. Simmer for 5 minutes.  Serve.

  1. Okay… I have to admit I wasn’t sure about this recipe when I read it, but I had some ground pork I needed to use. I’m new to all this Paelo cooking, being a single Mom, 2 kids, one Autistic i have no time to mess around when I get home from work. Just made this for dinner… Friggin ROCKED! my daughter loved it, my son ate a small amount (the Autistic one) and I have left overs for lunch tomorrow! Thank you!
