If you are not familiar with Mark Sisson, then check out his site at Mark’s Daily Apple. The site is an excellent resource for health information and recipes. This recipe came from one of Mark’s cookbooks, Primal Blueprint, Quick and Easy Meals. It is full of tasty recipes with simple ingredients that you most likely already have on hand. The Primal Blueprint Cookbook is another one that I love to cook from.
Fall is here and the warmth and smell of this breakfast dish hits the spot!
Gather Up:
- 1 egg
- 1/2 banana
- 3/4 to 1 cup mixture of nuts (I used walnuts, almonds, and cashews – all unsalted)
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup full fat coconut milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla (optional)
- 1/4 cup berries for topping (optional)
If you wish to heat it, pour into a saucepan and heat slightly on low for about a minute or so. Stir constantly so it does not burn. Pour into a bowl and add berries on top.

- Mix all ingredients except berries in a food processor. This should only take about 20 seconds or so to thoroughly incorporate.
